# Edit an idea's direction

> Change what a listing image slot will be rendered from.

**Endpoint:** `PATCH https://makelocalads.com/api/v1/amazon-listing-ideas/{idea_id}`
**Permission:** `amazon_listings:update`

Each idea slot has a `summary`: the direction its image is rendered from.
Replace it when you want a different shot. The new direction is used the next
time the slot is rendered. It is free.
