A photoshoot generates new images for one product, in the look and count you choose. It is what the Photoshoot studio in the app does: Quick Shoot for direction in a few fields, templates for a reusable set of shots, moodboards for a style grid to steer or pick from. Everything runs asynchronously. A request answers 202 Accepted and you poll the photoshoot until its outputs are done.

Before you start

  • A product with status: "ready" and at least one image. See Products.
  • An API key with photoshoots:generate (and photoshoots:read to poll).
  • For a template shoot, the product and template must belong to the same brand.

Workflows

Send exactly one of quick_shoot, template_id, or moodboard_shots on POST /photoshoots.

Cost

Each requested image costs 1 credit (the photoshoot_image operation in GET /pricing). Moodboards are free. Set max_credits on the request to cap what it can spend; see Credits and spending. Open a workflow to see its fields and copy-paste examples.
